Brac University Response Team is dedicated to the aid of students in crisis including any but not limited to epidemics, pandemics, or in general social welfare of the Brac University community.

About Us

BRACU Response Team is a social welfare-based club at BRAC University that began its journey in 2020, during COVID-19. Initially, in March 2020, some BRAC University students created a team named the "Covid-19 Response Team" to assist the COVID-affected people and their families in the BRACU community. The "COVID- 19 Response team" stepped up as a lifesaver for those experiencing difficulties in that dire situation. We began our journey as an unrecognized team, only being a Response Team during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eventually, we were introduced as a club of BRAC University and we named ourselves the "BRAC University Response Team ". Rather than being limited to medical emergencies, we expanded our services for student rights, animal rights, environmental protection, and other concerns.

Mission

The mission of the BRACU Response Team (BURT) is to provide safe, timely, effective, and compliant services. This includes emergency response, providing support and leadership to the BRAC University student community, and creating an extensive blood group database of present and former students of BRACU, Apart from this, their mission is also to do social work that will help people of different backgrounds.

Vision

The vision of the BRACU Response Team (BURT) is to be prepared during emergencies and to respond as quickly as possible. It also envisions the welfare of society, specifically the unprivileged people.
